  • Wieskirche

The 18th century pilgrimage church Wieskirche, probably the most famous rococo church and called “Church in the Meadows”, became distinguished as a Unesco World Heritage Building in our days. Its outstanding beauty is the creation of the artist brothers, Dominikus Zimmermann as the architect and Johann Baptist Zimmermann as the fresco painter. Their work of art radiates in white and gold and in the vivid colors of the Rococo period.
